Our second show went well,
we've been showing in Bodø for the first time.
The weather wasn't the best, but we are happy with the show
results for both our pupies. Your can see Bettan's

We showed our two puppies (now 11
months old) for the first time, and we are very happy with
the results. Our best results came on Day Two, when Rufus

The puppies are alive and kicking
in Pilar's tummy, and she is heavy and tired, finding it
hard to go up stairs or getting in the car. We believe that
the birth is not far off, thinking something might happen
during the weekend. |

Pilar is expecting a new litter in
the beginning of July 2009. We are hoping for around 5
puppies, and are very excited about which colour puppies
will be born. |

We're trying for litter number two |
|

|
Pilar is now in heat, and we are
planning one final litter on her this year. Her mate and
sire is Gold'n'art Caloris Sable Charm from Kennel Caloris,
Borkenes. |

testing |

|
An eye test was performed on Ebbas
Ava, our other bitch, and she was diagnosed with cataracts
on both eyes. This is devastating news for us, as she may
ultimately go blind. She will not be bred and will continue
to stay with her loving family in Liland. |

23.03.09 - The
Kennel Club Breeder Course |
|
| |
|
| On 28. and 29. mars 2009 we
took part in the Kennel Club Breeder Course in
Tromsø. Subjects included genetics, breeding
principles, animal health, anatomy, hereditary
diseases, DNA-testing, use of screening results in
breeding, breeding ethics etc. This course is in two
parts, with the next weekend taking place next year.
To be recommended for established breeders, as well
as people thinking about becoming breeders.

23.02.09 - A
new year - new opportunities |
|

|
We have had a loooong break this
winter, and the website hasn't been updated for a while. It
is now February, and we have started to train a little again.
Inger is going to be an instructor to the rally group which
we are starting at the canine club in Harstad. She is
looking forward to get going again. We have booked a place
at the Norwegian Kennel Club Breeder Course taking place in
Tromsø in March. Very exciting and educational we hope. We
are also planning to show Ariel again this year, and
hopefully get a second litter from Pilar in the summer. |
