It's been
a while since I have been writing, but we've had our
hands full with 7 puppies being all over the place. It
has been a lot of hard work. All the puppies, except one,
has found a new home and our house is calm, yet again.
We are very please with their new homes and know that
they will be looked after by their new families. Most
puppies are attending puppy classes with us, so we will
meet regularly in time to come. They are not very far
away so that we can keep in touch and follow their
progress as they grow older.

The warm
weather is continuing, og we're having a wonderful time
in the sunshine with our puppies, now 5 weeks old. They
are noisy and naughty, but also very lovely. We have
made a little play pen, and they love playing in the
grass out in the garden. We are regularly taking them
out for drives in the car. Some of them have been for
short visits to their respective owners, as they don't
live very far away from us.

Puppies
are growing by the day and are now 4 weeks old. The
weather is absolutely wonderful at the moment, and the
puppies are allowed to spend time outside in the warm
sunshine. They are always hungry and are now fed their
special puppy food. We have taken them in the car for
short drives, and they seem to love it, sleeping all the
way. Their new owners are coming to visit, looking
forward to when their new darlings are coming home!

Puppies
are 3 weeks and 1 day today. They are becoming very
active and improving their walking skills from day to
day. They left their puppy box quite quickly, and found
that mum's metal cage was much more suitable. We have
been visited by a few potential buyers, and they are all
being charmed. The colours are also getting more
pronounced now. Tomorry, we will be feeding them solid
food for the first time.

As the
puppies are 2 weeks old, they are beginning to learn how
to walk, they bite each other, try to play and most of
all : they are very noisy! Cuddling up to mum and
feeding is best of all. Several of them are now weighing
800 grams.

Puppies
are 11 days old, and we can now clearly see that they
are starting to open their eyes - particularly Betty Boo
(pictured to the right) and Bayaz. All puppies are
eating well and growing fast. We can now clearly see
that Betty Boo will be a sobel cocker.

Puppies are now 1 week
old, and they are getting bigger by the day, having put
on approx 100 grammes since birth. Mum is hungry all the
time, and is fed a large amount of protein-rich food
every day. We can see that the colours are changing on
the two puppies which we thought were liver roan. We can
see a little hint of yellow in the brown colour, and we
think that they may be sobel! We will have to wait and
see, but it is very exciting.

Puppies
are 3 days old, and they have settled in very well.
Pilar is a good mother and takes very good care of the
little ones. We are a little unsure of the colours of
some of the puppies, but we think that two of them might
be liver roan - which we hoped for. This week has seen
Inger's birthday and we have had some visitors. Pilar is
thrilled to get some attention for herself for a change,
but all the puppies are admired by everyone.

First
puppy arrives in the night, at 04.45, an orange roan
male. Then two puppies follow closely: a liver roan
bitch at 05.05 and a blue roan bitch at 05.20. An hour
later several more are born: a liver roan male at 06.20,
a sobel male at 06.30, an orange roan bitch at 07.30 and
- finally - a black male at 08.40. The last one is
more or less lifeless, and we have to help out to get
the puppy breathing. Pilar is extremely tired, and is
happy for us to do the job. All puppies weigh in at
approx 300 grammes.
